The Salzburger Saalachtal lies in the middle of an area where three counties meet Salzburgerland, Tirol and Bayern. There are no toll ways or toll stickers needed to reach us.
The Salzburger Saalachtal lies in the Salzburgerland and consists of 4 villages: Lofer, Saint. Martin, Unken and Weißbach.
In the winter and summer this is certainly one of the most beautiful provinces of Austria.

In the north of the province, in a bowl shaped valley lie the two villages Lofer and St Martin. They are surrounded by mainly forested slopes on the west side and the bald impressive peaks of the Loferer Stein Mountains.
On the other side of the valley lies the village Weißbach which is known for its superb natural areas Seisenberg gorge and Vorderkaser gorge.

The river Saalach flows through the valley and in the summer is a paradise for rafting and kayaking the world championships are regularly held here!

The Salzburger valley is surrounded by the Loferer Stein Mountains and the Reiter Alps, because of this there is hardly any fog in the area which always allows for a great day out.

The villages in the Salzburger valley are easily reached with public transport. The closest train stations lie only 24 km away (Saalfelden and St.Johann / Tirol).
The beautiful city of Salzburg with its airport is only 45 minutes away by car.

If required we can pick you up at a train, bus station or the Salzburg airport for a small fee.

Salzburg is a must to visit for culture and music lovers.

The inhabitants of the Saalachtal strive to protect the unique surroundings and undertake action to preserve nature. One of the most important ventures is their organic heating system which provides energy for 2 villages and reduces the pollution by 95%.
